Title: Order That the Treasurer be authorized to borrow $12,500,000 for construction or purchase of municipal buildings (City Hall and Police Station). Ordered: That the sum of $ 12,500,000 is appropriated to pay costs of designing, constructing, reconstructing, purchasing and/or originally equipping a Police Station and City Hall, including the payment of all costs incidental and related thereto, and that to meet this appropriation, the Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor, is authorized to borrow said amount under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7(3) of the General Laws, or pursuant to any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the City therefor, Further Ordered: that the Treasurer is authorized to file an application with the Municipal Finance Oversight Board to qualify under Chapter 44A of the General Laws any or all of the bonds authorized by this Order and to provide such information and execute such documents as the Municipal Finance Oversight Board may...
