Be it ordained that R.O. 1991 be amended by adding a new Section 2.31 relative to the Everett Casino and/or the Surrounding Community Agreement

Be it hereby ordained by the Malden City Council that the Revised Ordinances of 1991, as amended, be and the same are hereby amended as follows:
-By including a new section 2.31 as indicated below;
SECTION 2.31, SURROUNDING COMMUNITY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MALDEN AND WYNN MA LLC AND/OR THE CASINO IN EVERETT MASSACHUSETTS;
Any agreement entered into between the City of Everett, Wynn MA LLC, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and/or any other entity relating to a casino located in Everett MA shall include Further that; no agreement, contract, discussion, payment, expenditure, license, Memorandum of Understanding and/or any other communication and/or relationship may be entered into regarding the Everett Casino, its developers, owners, heirs, the City of Everett, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and/or any other entity associated with the Casino, Surrounding Community Agreement, and/or any other matters involving the City of Malden and any casino and/or resort casino. Shall be made without a 2/3 vote of approval from the Malden City Council. Further, the Mayor of Malden shall not enter into any agreements of any kind involving the Everett Casino without the 2/3 approval of the Malden City Council.
