Mayor's Appointment: Amanda Mantone Linehan, 83 Blomerth St. as a member of the Malden Redevelopment Authority Board (Confirmation required)

Dear Members of the Council:
Pursuant to the provisions of law, I hereby appoint Amanda Mantone Linehan, 83 Blomerth Street, Malden, Massachusetts as a member of the Malden Redevelopment Authority Board, said term to expire on May 1, 2019. Amanda will replace Diego Barricelli who recently resigned.
As Communications Manager of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), Amanda was very involved in the 2013 collaboration between the Harvard Graduate School of Design and the MAPC where the Harvard Graduate School of Design students studied and presented their strategies and ideas for making Malden's downtown more vibrant and dynamic. Amanda has also been a strong and effective member of the Mayor's Committee on Walkability. I believe that Amanda will be a great fit on the MRA Board and will work hard to move the City forward.
