Ordered: That the City submit to the Massachusetts legislature for passage in substantially the following form:
An Act Reconfiguring Certain Park Land in the City of Malden
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
Section 1. The city of Malden is hereby authorized to use 282 square feet of land at the southeast corner and 691 square feet of land at the southwest corner of the park known as Harris Delta for improvements to roadways under the Department of Transportation Safe Routes to Schools Program; provided that 1279 square feet of land be added to the park at the northeast corner. Alterations to the park shall be as depicted on a plan entitled Taking and Easement Plan Safe Routes to School Infrastructure Project Pleasant St., Elm Street and Highland Avenue (Mass DOT Project No. 607447) by TEC, Inc., 65 Glen Street, Lawrence, MA dated June 12, 2014.
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
