Dear Members of the Council:
Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch. 41, Section 81A, I hereby appoint Patrick Fitzgerald, 45 Wesmur Road, Malden, Massachusetts, as an associate member of the Planning Board, said term to commence upon his confirmation by the City Council, and to expire March 1, 2020. Patrick will replace Josh Billings, who resigned due to relocating out of the City.
Patrick, a Massachusetts district attorney, is committed to public service and has a strong interest in urban planning and development. I believe his experience and balanced perspective will be an asset to the Planning Board.
