Dear Council,
Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2015, I hereby reappoint Laurie J. Macdonald, 10 Fernald Avenue, York, Maine, as a member of the Stadium and Athletic Field Commission, said term to expire June 1, 2016.
Laurie, a lifelong Malden resident who recently moved to Maine, wishes to continue her service on the Commission, as she is the daughter of Congressman Torbert Macdonald and granddaughter of John “Jack” Macdonald in whose honor the Stadium is named. Since 2012, Laurie has been a devoted and valuable member always working to ensure that the Stadium is fairly utilized by the youth of Malden.
