Add sub-section D. to 2.12.105 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES to read as follows:

D. Supervision of Animal Control Officer

The Animal Control Officer is appointed by the Mayor and works under the supervision of the Director of Health and Human Services.  The Animal Control Officer enforces laws and ordinances related to the keeping, handling, management, and control and licensing of animals in the city. The Animal Control Officer provides public education and support services for urban wildlife and animal wellness and works in conjunction with the Health Department on the intersection of Animal Control and Wellness with Public Health.
