Be it hereby Ordained by the Malden City Council that the Revised Ordinances of 1991 as amended be and the same are hereby amended as follows:
Section 2.30 Community Preservation Committee; Composition; Duties; Etc.
1. That it establish a date for the first and initial meeting of the CPC Committee and who will chair first meeting until they vote, and a deadline date for its first meeting each year.
2. That it establish that members of the Board and Commissions during renewal phases or replacements be appointed no later than December 1 of each year.
3. That the City Council members appoint and notify the City Clerk of their respective members no later than January 10 of the years they will have an appointment.
4. That the CPC Committee submit its proposals to the City Council no later than March 1 of each year as is the submission to the Mayor for administrative costs for the annual budget cycle.
5. That it strike the date of March 15th
6. That the Chairman of Ordinance establish the date and time for the first Community Preservation Committee.
