Dear Member of the Council:
Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 41, Section 81A I hereby appoint Tewedaj Gebreselassie, 525 Highland Ave. Apt. 30, Malden, MA, as associate member of the Planning Board, said term to commence upon her confirmation by the City Council and to expire March 1, 2019.
Tewedaj has an accounting and finance background as has extensive experience working with the public. Her professional and educational experience, combined with her involvement with many community and civic groups brings a uniq ue perspective to the City. I believe she will be a valuable addition to the Planning Board. Tewedaj will fill the unexpired associated member vacancy of Eric Henry who was recently appointment to full member status upon the resignation of Simon Mzaouakk.
