Resolved:  That the Mayor establish a five member, Long-Term Transportation Advisory Committee.

Body

The Council requests that the Mayor establish a five member Long-Term Transportation Advisory Committee comprised of three residents with demonstrated interest in transportation planning and two City Councillors to be appointed by the Council President. The purpose of such Committee will be to study the City's current procedures, services, and projects related to transportation planning and research and recommend best practices that can improve mobility and neighborhood quality of life throughout the City. Such Committee shall provide the results of its study and recommendations to the Mayor and Council by no later than March 1, 2019.
