Title
Ordinance: Be it hereby ordained that Section 6.45 (Used Car Dealers) of the Revised Ordinances of 1991 as amended, be hereby further amended by adding the language from Committee Report #371-19 as ordained by the committee.
Body
By adding the following:
1. The building commissioner and the fire department shall sign and approve the certified plot plan submitted with the license application.
2. That the principal of each dealership shall submit with the application a current CORI report issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for review, inspection and approval by the City Council.
3. License fee for Class I, II and III shall be increased to $200.00 per year.
4. Each Class I, II and III dealer at the time of application will pay a $100.00 inspection fee.
5. That each new applicant shall pay a onetime application fee of $50.00.
6. That no more than twenty-eight (28) licenses shall be issued; in addition to the sixteen (16) licenses allowed under Section E; (so called grandfathered licenses).
