Communication:  Planning Board Communication regarding Amendments of §300.1, Ch.12, Revised Ordinances of 1991, as Amended Special Permit for Property Determined to be Preferably Preserved pursuant to Demolition and Alteration Delay Ordinance City Council Paper #386/2019.

Dear Councilors:

On December 17, 2019, the Planning Board and City Council Ordinance Committee held a joint public hearing regarding the above-referenced proposed amendment.

 

 As a result of the public hearing, on December 17, 2019, a majority of the Planning Board, namely, all eight members present, voted to recommend to the City Council approval of the proposed amendment as submitted.

 

The minutes of the joint public hearing will be made available at your request.  For your reference, attached please find the Planning Report & Recommendation dated December 17, 2019.

 

Finally, please be advised, that, if the City Council fails to act on the amendment within ninety (90) days of the date the public hearing closed, a new duly advertised public hearing must be held.  Accordingly, the final date for action is March 16, 2020.
